Grand Design RV Spreads Cheer with Third Annual Christmas in July Event

Middlebury, IN, July 23, 2024 – Grand Design RV is thrilled to announce the resounding success of its 3rd Annual Christmas in July event, held to kickstart the giving season for the Elkhart Area Toys for Tots Program. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our incredible GDRV team members and the numerous vendors whose generous donations made this event possible.

Started to support the Elkhart Area Toys for Tots Program, this initiative is close to our hearts. Recognizing the challenges of holiday season donations, our event aims to leverage summer sales and clearances to gather toys early, ensuring a robust stock for the annual toy drive.

Thanks to the overwhelming support, Grand Design was able to fill 20 boxes with over 800 toys, with more donations still coming from our Amazon list. This impressive start is crucial as Toys for Tots expands its support to Elkhart, LaGrange, and Steuben Counties in 2024.

"We're beyond thrilled with the turnout and generosity we've seen this year," said Emily Stahly, who oversees Community and Owner Outreach at Grand Design RV. "Our community has such a big heart, and it's incredible to see everyone come together to make a difference. We know these toys will bring so much joy to children in our area."

We are deeply grateful to our vendors, including Mor Ryde, Lippert, Vomela Companies, Command Electronics, Global Composites Inc., Future Sales, and Shaw Floors, for their roles in this effort. Our local food trucks – Donut NV, Puffles Creamery, and Tacos Acapulco – not only fed the crowd with delicious treats but also contributed toys.

"Our vendors and partners play such an essential role in our success," Stahly added. "Their support and contributions highlight the generosity and collaborative spirit of the entire RV industry. It's inspiring to see how our industry can come together to support such a worthy cause."

Grand Design RV owners Tom and Brenda, who traveled from Texas to play Santa and Mrs. Claus, added a magical touch to our event. Tremendous appreciation goes out to everyone who volunteered, shared the event on social media, and spread the word about this great cause.

As we gear up for the holiday season, Grand Design is committed to continuing our support for the Toys for Tots Program and ensuring that every child has a joyful holiday.
