We often get cancellations and many of those occur just a few weeks before the rally. If a ticket becomes available, we will contact you with further instructions on how to reserve your rally site and purchase your rally ticket. No further action is required at this time. We hope to see you for the rally!

Join your wagon masters, Patti and Donald Stramer, at the Grand Design RV Owners Capital Rally. We’re returning to the premier camping destination in the Washington, DC area--Cherry Hill Park!

 

The rally kicks off Wednesday, October 14th and closes Sunday morning, October 18th.

RALLY PRICING:

 

CHERRY HILL PARK: Rally site rates are available Monday, October 12th through Tuesday October 20th. All resort base rates include up to 6 people and 1 vehicle.

 

If arriving or departing outside of the above dates, please request pricing from the concierge when booking.

  • Standard back-in sites: $95-$100/ per night. Each standard back-in site comes with 30/50 amp electric, sewer, water, cable TV, free Wi-Fi, fire ring and a picnic table. Accommodates rigs up to 40'. NEW FOR 2026: YOU MAY REQUEST/LOCK IN A PARTICULAR CAMP SITE (EXAMPLE: 1422). IF THE SITE IS AVAILABLE FOR YOUR REQUESTED ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE DATES, THE FEE IS $100/PER NIGHT. IF YOU ALLOW THE RESORT TO ASSIGN YOUR STANDARD BACK-IN SITE, THE FEE IS $95/NIGHT. THIS LOCK RATE ONLY APPLIES TO THE STANDARD BACK-IN SITES, WHICH TYPICALLY ARE LOCATED IN THE 1400S ALONG BADLAND GULCH.
  • Premium back-in sites: $106/per night (upgrade over standard back-in sites) 30/50 amp electric, sewer, water, cable TV, free Wi-Fi, fire ring, brick patio w/ wrought-iron furniture and charcoal grill.
  • Premium pull-through sites: Rates begin at $120/night. The resort will confirm pricing when you book your site. Each premium pull-through site comes with 30/50 amp electric, sewer, water, cable TV, free Wi-Fi, brick patio, wrought iron furniture, and charcoal grill. Accommodates rigs up to 60' total length.
  • Golf carts: There are a limited number of golf carts available to rent. If you need a cart, they are $80+taxes/day for a 4-seater or $160+taxes/day for a 6-seater. Please confirm pricing with the concierge when reserving your cart. Private golf carts are permitted with a $5 registration fee/proof of insurance at registration or a $10 fee, if you register at check-in. Please check with the resort for the latest rules regarding private carts. There is parking available near the pavilion where the seminars and meals take place. Golf cart shuttles to and from events will also be available.
  • SPECIAL NOTE REGARDING CHERRY HILL PARK’S HALLOWEEN WEEKEND: Any guest who may want to stay through the weekend following the rally (October 23rd through the 25th ) must book through that entire weekend, at regular site rates. This is Cherry Hill Park’s policy for their event.

 

EVENTBRITE RALLY TICKET PRICE: $125 + EVENTBRITE FEE  (One ticket, per RV)

The Eventbrite ticket cost Includes 2 adults and up to 2 children (17 years old and under). Only one (1) Eventbrite ticket per RV is required. If you have additional adults or children traveling with you in your rig, please let the wagon masters know by sending an email to capitalgdownersrally@gmail.com. Additional fees to cover meals may be required. Due to limited seating, outside guests of attendees will not be allowed into rally events.

 

REFUNDS/CANCELLATIONS:

 

EVENTBRITE RALLY TICKET REFUND: Eventbrite rally ticket refunds are NOT guaranteed. A refund MAY be available if we can fill your spot from our waitlist. Refunds DO NOT include Eventbrite's processing fees. ABSOLUTELY NO EVENTBRITE REFUNDS FOR CANCELLATIONS AFTER MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 2026.

 

CHERRY HILL PARK (CHP) CAMP SITE REFUND:

At the time of this post, CHP offers a full refund for the first 48 hours after a booking is placed (as long as the arrival date is more than 1 week away). From 48 hours after booking until 1 week prior to the arrival date, CHP will keep 25% of the deposit. From 1 week before arrival until the day of arrival, CHP will keep 50% of the deposit. For "no-shows" (reservations not cancelled by check-in time), CHP will keep the amount paid in full.

PURCHASE PROCESS:

 

STEP 1:  THE RALLY IS SOLD OUT.  PLEASE SEE ABOVE TO BE ADDED TO WAITLIST. IF A TICKET BECOMES AVAILABLE, YOU WILL BE DIRECTED HOW TO RESERVE YOUR CAMPING SITE WITH CHERRY HILL PARK. THANK YOU.

 

Step 2: If you made it into the rally, the wagon master will email you with an Eventbrite ticket link for you to purchase your Eventbrite rally ticket. $125 + Eventbrite fee. Includes 2 adults and up to 2 children per rig. Purchase only one (1) ticket.  

 

Please note, unlike prior years, Eventbrite will process your purchase first. You must continue after the purchase screen to the registration questions to fully complete your registration.  This includes items such as ages of children attending, etc.

 

When purchasing your ticket and answering the registration questions, please use the same email you provided to Cherry Hill Park. You will need the info below to answer two of the registration questions:

 

  1. Cherry Hill Park confirmation number available. The confirmation number should follow a format of "#00000 " (or some combination like this).
  2. Your Grand Design RV Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). You can find this on your registration card, your insurance card or on the driver's side label on the RV itself. Grand Design requires this info for their records from the event.
