NHTSA Recall 26V-174 Lineage Power Step Switch
Grand Design RV has determined that a safety defect exists in certain 2025–2026 Lineage Class C motorhomes. Your motorhome may be equipped with an entry door position switch that does not make adequate contact to read that the door is closed, which can allow the steps to deploy unexpectedly. A recall to address this issue was initiated effective 5/11/2026.

- Grand Design RV a déterminé qu’un défaut de sécurité est présent dans certains motorisés Lineage Classe C des années modèles 2025–2026. Votre motorisé pourrait être équipé d’un interrupteur de position de la porte d’entrée qui n’établit pas un contact adéquat pour indiquer que la porte est fermée, ce qui peut permettre au marchepied de se déployer de façon inattendue. Un rappel visant à corriger ce problème a été lancé à compter du 11 mai 2026.
